In the journal “Futures” a special issue to "Landscape Visions" is published. The contributions are a choice of the session of the same name at the IALE world congress in Wageningen which was escorted by Hermann Klug (Salzburg) and Marion Potschin (Nottingham).

In the introduction paper Hermann Klug, Roy Haines-Young and Marion Potschin have tried to adapt and to compare the Leitbild concept of the English-speaking planning reality, respectively. Five examples follow on visions from different regions of this world. The authors were asked to reflect the Leitbild concept in her respective planning concept and vision methodology what was not always easy.
